This institute was established by the Industrial Development Bureau of the
Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Taiwan Printing Industry Association on
March 2, 1993. The supervisory division was established in September, 1992.
Goals to achieve:
- To promote the development of Taiwan's printing industry, as governed by the R.O.C. government's policy for industrial development.
- To research and develop printing exports, manufacturing and quality control management.
- To facilitate transfer of technology, to improve pre-press, press and post-press efforts.
- To train printing technicians, and to improve the quality of human resources in the printing industry.
