5th Printing Technology Research Institute in cooperation with Shan Shui Color Printing Co., Ltd. have successfully researched the "Random Dot Optical Grating 3-D Imaging Construction", and was granted a patent certificate by Intellectual Property Office, Ministry of Economic Affairs, ROC on November 17, 2005. The certificate number is (94) Zhi-Zhuan Yi (4)13052 Zi, No. 09421043540.
2nd The Security Printing Department of Yuen Foong Paper Co. (YFP) was granted BS7799 Information Safety Management Certificate on November 28th. This is the first company that owns three certificates in the security printing enterprises. The two other certificates are ISO 9002 Quality Control Certificate and ISO-14001 Environmental Management Certificate. That means the company will guarantee the quality and safety in printing checks, gift coupons, and other valuable papers.

The objective of the Awards is to push Taiwanese printing industry to the world stage, and to encourage printers, publishers, and related industries to upgrade their quality continuously, as well as to promote their competition abilities.

The subjects were: "Development of Network Culture & Digital Achievement" and "The Role Could Be Played By The Printing Industry In Digital Achievement", at the meeting room #502, the 5th floor of General Building, National Normal University, in Taipei, on Wednesday, 29th of December, from 2.00 to 5.00pm.
* Sun Sul Print Co., Ltd.won one "Silver Medal" in Speciality Printing Category from 2004 2nd Asian Pinting Award in Singapore.
